Then if you trade that over to HG or SS, and go to that shrine in Ilex Forest, a Spiky Eared Pichu will appear! Catch it and you got two new rare pokemon! Sure they may be useless, but hey, it's free. Oh, and the Spiky Eared Pichu will be holding a Zap Plate, so that may be useful.
