EFF is the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a donor-funded nonprofit formed to defend public interest (an understandably vague term) in the arena of electronics. They are a badass group that fights major corporations and government policy to protect our privacy and freedom on the internet, as well as many other things.

This group is in support of EFF and each new member will increase donations made to the organization.

You gotta fight for your right...

Well, the first donation has been made on behalf of this group. It works out to about 2$ per member at $50. It will probably only pay 1 lawyer for about 15 minutes of his or her time but donations will increase if we get more members so don't hesitate to invite your friends.

Since you undoubtedly play games online, you have a vested interest in the cases that EFF is taking on. You might not agree with each and every position that EFF takes due to their high level of involvement in policy making, but chances are their work will benefit you in some way.

Wish this steam group was around sooner, and that I had joined it from it's inception. Also, you might want to fix the "our" to "out"

Haven't had a problem with trolling yet, but it is bound to happen with anything surrounding TF2.

Sir I shall make sure I fight for the all imprisoned robots around the world by building more of them to free them! Engineer HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

On a serious note, I hope this group grows. The government grows more corrupt each day and this group might just open the eyes of the gamers of America. Maybe making this public could help, but I would be worried about trolls and/or people who don't take this group seriously.
