Connection issues

Some have you (including mysetlf) are having issues connecting to the server. As you all probably know, Minecraft.net is being relocated to a better faster server. If you are finally able to log-in to Minecraft, you still have to pass another check to the Minecraft.net servers, this is where you are getting hung up. Hopefully the servers will be transfered soon.

Whats up with all these random down times? If the server going to be down for more then a day there should atleast be a post about it. Also, the update just came out and I really want to do ♥♥♥♥
