Exit 8-likes & Anomaly Games

Games that follow the "Spot the Anomaly" core gameplay mechanic, for which two major schools have emerged:

- games following the paradigms of The Exit 8

- games following the paradigms of I'm on Observation Duty.

Both share lots of fundamental concepts regarding observing and detecting anomalies in a given location, but there's also some major differences.

This group & curator page was founded for and focuses primarily on the Exit 8-like variation of the genre, however, Observation Duty-likes are not excluded from being covered.

- We're not listing unreleased titles unless they have a demo available
