Demo Mode, also known as an Attract Mode, commonly appear on the main menu of Arcade Games when left idle for a minute which then video of gameplay, cutscenes, hi-scores, tutorials or other general information about the game.

Though most commonly seen in Arcade Games as a means to both avoid screen burn-in and to attract prospective players to spend their hard earned money the practice of including a Demo Mode has carried on into many modern Console and PC games.
