My thanks to all who participated and helped each other out getting points for the event. If it's anything like Hit Squad Round 1, it will be a couple weeks before the prizes are delivered so be patient and good luck on opening them!

Where are we going from here?

Well, as you may or may not know, Crypton Crims was formed just days before I heard about Hit Squad Round 2 so I had to do rushed recruitment and hope for the best. I can say it turned out very well. We got some great new additions to the crew. There are a couple things I had to overlook in the rush, though...

The main thing is a private VOIP server. I still haven't had a chance to look into the various companies and plans to figure out which one will be good so I'll start working on that again.

The other thing I wanted to do was put together an orientation for new recruits so that they know what kind of clan we are and some basic expectations. I think everyone that's been logging on daily so far has a good idea about that, though. I wanted to put together a competative clan that plays to win but also shows good sportsmanship and can take a loss in stride. Having fun is the most important thing. Everyone has met or exceeded my expectations so far but I'll try to put together a more formal orientation for people we recruit in the future.

And lastly, I haven't gotten to say much about it yet but I very much want to have clan events with prizes and whatnot aside from official events. Some possibilities could be something like a public car show or a race. Prizes could be things like mods. If anyone has ideas or things they really want to see as events/prizes/etc, please either let me know via PM or chat or you can just casually bring it up in clanspeak or post a comment here so everyone can discuss it.
