CreeperCraft!

I know this post is a few days late, but here it is! This update was a big one that changes the mechanics of how the updates work. We are still using a dev build of Bukkit but it is very stable. Some of the new key features in this server update are Towns, Money, a Dynamic Map and the Whitelist. The map is accessed by going to www.creepercraft.com/map. Remember to keep on voting for the server on Minestatus too! Not only do you get free diamonds, the server also get put up the global ranking. As of 05/12/2011 we are currently 83rd out of 6753 servers. I know we can get higher than this as we’ve been at 20th before
Regarding the forums, could people please read the dates of threads before posting in them, I’ve noticed a lot of thread necromancy recently and its not fun because it causes confusion.


This is a list of plugins that we now have:
BlockHat, Lottery, MobDisguise, WorldEdit, mcbans, BorderGuard,

Blockhat – This plugin will allow players to place blocks on their heads and use them as hats.
Lottery – Obvious what this does. Type “/lottery buy” to get a ticket, tickets cost $50. Drawn once an hour.
MobDisguise – This is a VIP exclusive plugin that enables people to diguise themselves as mobs.
BorderGuard – This has put an imaginary border around the edges of the server to stop excessive map growth.
Questioner – Part of Towny. Used for /accept, /deny
MoneyDrop – Mobs will now drop a random sum of money. A great way of earning money!
iConomy – Introduces a currency to the server.
Whitelist – A whitelist plugin.
Dynmap – A dynamic map of the server. Visable at (http://www.creepercraft.com/map)
Dynmap-Towny – Shows Town regions on the map. The red areas are towns.
Towny – Adds towns to the server. Read further down for more information.
Townychat – Adds your town name infront of your player name.
Register – To do with money
NoLagg – Helps reduce the effects of lag on the server.

The Whitelist requests are likely to be moved over to the minecraft forums as this will provide a great way of getting new people into the server. The towny commands and help will be put into the server help section (link at the top of the homepage). We are also going to be holding some more competitions into the Christmas period starting this Wednesday!
