also, The First Decade unofficial 1.3 patch was a lifesaver. and a C&C95 1.6 patch adjusts resolution to 1024x768. Its so large you hardly scroll the bloody map!!! If you're a fan of C&C (and if you're reading this then you are) download both of those! go google em, im going to sleep (to dream of mission 13 "Eliminate Kane")


also, below...it's not Mission 10, it's actually 11. and Mission 12? no MCV/harvester and you gotta eliminate SAM Sites! save often or be quick at the start. Prohint: use your MRLS if you do 12A (didnt do B), it's out of range of those fancy Laser towers that some call Obelisks (and don't forget the topright!)

I got up to GDI Mission 10..or was it 9, no 10 definately 10.

due to the epic time required for something like this I'm not gonna stay up as long as possible to play since I'll have to readjust my internal clock for tafe come monday (yay 8:30AM start(!)).

Instead, I'm going to play the Tiberium set as much as possible. If it's SinglePlayer it's C&C, if it's Multiplayer, it SHOULD be C&C but it usually isn't.

Also, fun fact for C&C: Tiberian Dawn. For those who don't know (you should) or are too much of a young frackin whipper shnipper, Sandbags are your best friend. srs, build sandbags at enemy base entrance and the tanks are all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ A SANDBAG WALL, MY TANK IS POWERLESS!!!


them bags got me through one though mission (GDI #10) where you assault a beachhead of 3 turrets and a tank and you got 8 soldiers and an MCV. just sandbag up to northern chokepoint, 1 layer thick sandbags and nod tanks/arties/flametanks are POWERLESS!!!!

Since I'm gonna need patches for this ♥♥♥♥...I'm gonna have to hold off on it, once I've got the patches then I SHOULD be able to go for as long as I can as much as possible...

Update: it's going fine until the first triple mission bit, (the first mission where you get the GDI commando). If you go to certain areas of the map (top left in it and next mission) the game crashes.

I don't want to but at this rate it will be easier to start at Tiberian Sun.
