Clifford Lee Burton (*10.02.1962, † 27.09.1986)

Clifford Lee Burton, named Cliff, was Bassist and became known with the Thrash-Metal Band Metallica .

He was the son of Hippie-Parents.
He had two sisters and went to high school and college in San Francisco where he attended music courses.
His first instrument was the piano.
The Bassplaying he started in 1976.
Although Burton was left-handed, he played his bass right-handed.
