Shutting Down.

Hello everyone, I'm sure this has been long expected and probably not a surprise to a lot of you, but I'm finally shutting down my server.
Although this is hard for me, it is something I truly think needs to be done. I'm sure you are all aware that I haven't been on anymore, as I've been doing things in real life and been coping with certain instances that happened early this year... and truthfully, I made this server to have a safe place that I could feel I had control to avoid having to complain to admins about minges on other severs, and for a long time this server (under many names) made me feel better, and I met some amazing people on it who I'll never forget. But for a long time it's just felt like it's been dying, and all it causes me now is stress and frustration. It's really long past time for me to move on and I'm sorry that you guys had to sit through it slowly dying.
CentralViolet was NOT supposed to replace Bluecloud. When I left Bluecloud I wanted something new for myself, but Jupiter shut Bluecloud down shortly after, and I was afraid to let you guys down and basically made this Bluecloud but with less addons. That isn't what I wanted, but I didn't want you guys to lose your ranks and everything you worked hard for and enjoyed.
I am very sorry for not being active, and I'm truthfully sorry I let this last as long as it did. I was afraid to let go and let everyone down, but I'm afraid I've done that in an even worse way by just dissapearing for a while.

I will be shutting the server down the 15th. Enjoy your time with your ranks while you can, or seek something better.

Thank you all for being supportive and staying here, I am so greatful to have known you guys. I'm sorry I couldn't hold up my part.

I remember playing on BlueCloud, being a former admin there. I forgot what my name was because I was a kid and I always changed my name. I'll always retain the memories I've gained while playing on BlueCloud as it was the very first server I played when I first got Gmod. I'll always remember using Pac3 and turning myself into a janitor and having a roomba follow me as a pet and also roleplaying as a clone trooper and combine police officer. I regret not saying a word when I left BC because you guys were truly one of the greatest people I've met. Although I haven't been on Central Violet, I'll still think of it as Blue Cloud 2.0. You guys have gave the the greatest first experiences I've had and I'll miss all of you guys - Some Janitor Guy

I took a break from Gmod, a long break. I was upset to return to find that my favorite server had closed down, but as all things do- it had to end at some point. Some of you may recognize me, not surprisingly most of you wont, but you might've heard or seen my name once or twice during your time on the server. It was my home, and favorite spot, and I just wanted to say that even after 4 years of it being gone, I still remember it. It lives on in the memory of all of those who got to experience the community. I hope all you are doing well- all of my old friends, anyone that ever played on the server. Especially now, during the plague. Stay safe everyone, and remember our server, so that it might live on again some day. - Commander Crazy Cat.

My career on Garry's Mod started somewhere around the middle of March-May of 2015, really not that long after creating my steam account for the first time. I have about 2,300 hours played over the course of the 5 years I've been here, and there is only one place that I remember. One place that I would show up every day looking for enjoyment. That place originally was Bluecloud, many of the people that played on Central Violet I'm sure were originally members of Bluecloud, either long time veterans or noobs like myself only around in the final few months of its existence. I remember after however, Central Violet was the beacon that kept the community going, it was QueenBea who gave us that place of wonder and enjoyment. I met some of my closest and maybe first online friends on Central Violet.

Guys, please just stop bugging them, the server has no signs of coming back, so just accept the fact that it's dead, and move on. I know you guys miss CV, and I do too, but if they say that the server is shutting down for good, its down for good and there's nothing you can do about it.
