Go under squadrons on the right pane to search for the ID and make a request to join !

For Forward Bases of operations:
LHS 3589 - Roosa Gateway // For a second home in a good Fed System with High Res sites next to the station for bounty hunting. Star is a white dwarf for kickstarting the first hop.
RA - LeConte Dock // For a third home in an Empire system nearby the other two.
Both have good tech but the prices are higher. Just overall great systems to grind rank in.

I just made one under my name. I wasn't sure if you could rename private groups
