Combat Technology Research Group

is a special forces unit with groups deployed on Stratis alongside Task Force Aegis, as well as the Pacific islands of Tanoa.

We are a small close knit group of “switched on” Arma 3 enthusiasts that enjoy playing the game from a Special Operations point of view.

Should you be looking for a large Mil-Sim group that requires attendance and training commitments, several gigs of mod downloads, and rule after rule to be followed…. Quite simply, you’re in the wrong place.

We play Arma 3 the way it was meant to be played, using a very slim mod set, all available from the Steam Workshop.

We don’t use servers, be it for Arma 3 or TeamSpeak. As such there are no costs associated to our gameplay other than Arma itself.

That said, we value realism, maturity, and quality time playing this sim we enjoy so much. Although we adhere to realistic team tactics, we encourage creativity, communication at all levels, and new ideas to solving tactical problems on the battle field, much like modern day Special Operations Forces do...
