WELCOME!

Got questions about how to make your own asteroids? Have suggestions, requests? Problems with one of my workshop items? Talk about it here and I will do my best to accommodate you.

You do not have to join this group to post a design request, but in order to post in any of the other forums you do.

If you join this group, it will be easier to let you know when I release new asteroids. I would like to upload 3 or 4 a week, but to do it in groupings. This way you do not get a message from here every day.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for being part of this group.

I just uploaded a bunch of updated worlds. I found an anomaly in many of the world folders that were responsible (partly) for my not being able to upload to the workshop. I cleaned up those directories, and updated some already. I have a few more updates to upload.

Two New Asteroids! (Well.. One... Two Versions)

"Blackheart Rock - PL" and "Blackheart Rock - All Ores" are both available on the workshop. As I state in my description, Blackheart Rock is one of my favorites. I hope you all check it out and enjoy it as much as I do. If you like it, please rate it up and tell your friends about it.

Remember - ITS A SANDBOX... Kick off your shoes, forget the rules, and have fun!

Hey everyone. Though there are only four of us at the moment, thanks for joining my group.

I just released another asteroid on workshop. You can find it here:

This is a particularly fun asteroid, as it has a HUGE inner cavern, some tunnels, and lots of ore.

Hey Everyone - I have taken down my workshop items and won't be making anymore asteroids. I tried to delete this group as well, but I obviously buggered up somewhere and I am no longer able to do anything in here... But for all intents and purposes, this group exists no longer.. Have fun building!

I am having a problem with my ISP. I cannot upload to Steam workshop from SE - I keep getting a failed to publish error. That being said, I apologize for the delay in updating the worlds with beacons... I will get to them ASAP - I try on a regular basis to connect.

Well realistically it still is a pretty small crowd who utilize the toolbox to add asteroids to their maps and even the most popular projects end up with a statistically small portion of their people actually rating them in comparison to downloads/subscriptions or comments. Overall I think your work has gotten a pretty high percentage of those things given it's for a a subset of the general SE population. It's easy to add a mod in, not as straight forward an asteroid.

Thanks Rouge! I was beginning to think maybe it was time to hang up my hat. I have a fair amount of subscriptions, but very few thumbs up, or comments.

I have a couple more that I am working on - I will release them all in one world I think this time... depending on my ISP. My latest creation is a 1km x 1km x 1km - ish sized asteroid field. Its alot of fun to fly through! But it is currently 40Mb in size... working on reducing the size.
