Thanks; really appreciate you setting this up for all of us. Looking forward to swapping ideas on the project (though so far, I only have one idea for a feature, and I'm not sure if it's a good one >_>).

[Sorry about deleting my last couple posts; I was trying to make some corrections and I screwed them up somehow. In case anyone missed them, the gist was just me agreeing with Kurina and asking if StingingVelvet had been invited (which Bansama just answered).]

@Kurina - Your account on Didimatic has now been approved.
@ACD8K - Your account has also been approved.

I sent StiningVelvet an invite to this group just waiting for him to accept it.

I'll set up the actual forum when I have a bit more time (currently working U_U). Also, once you've posted a bit , you'll have access to full forum features and will be able to change your display names (thus removing the _didi from your names).

Personally, I think a private sub-forum on Didimatic would be the best way to communicate for now, especially since it is easier to talk about multiple topics at one time. I just signed up here, username Kurina_didi.

As for focus, I agree with Bansama that anything related to PC gaming should be a topic to consider. However, it would probably be wise to come up with an official, clear statement of purpose for the blog/website for us to always remember and follow so that we never lose focus.

Tone is the iffy part for me. I tend to come off a bit too serious, and generally speaking, my writing has always revolved around being a pissy old school gamer that has trouble adapting to new things (Steam, certain game mechanics, etc). So hopefully I can soften that up a bit. I am all for us proof reading each others material, or even selecting someone to be an actual Editor of sorts as things progress.

@Andy_Panthro My first thought was a forum on didimatic, but I didn't want to force people to sign up for it. But yeah, if that's preferable I can certainly set up a forum on which we can discuss things over there.

As for the rest, my opinion is that if it affects a PC gamer, it's fair game to be covered in some form. Perhaps in different sections as an old printed magazine would have done it.

Tone is an interesting subject as left to my natural writing I'll come of as exceptionally angry torwards certain subjects and that's probably something best avoided... So I might also suggest that we at least have others proof/comment on articles before they go live. And in doing so, the site might take on a tone of its own anyhow.

Overall, I guess more towards RPS style might be good to start wtith, but with less of the corny (and often forced) "funny" headlines.

I'm a minor, so Google is locking me out of G+ until I turn 18 (February) or they drop the age limit. I could always fudge my age on a new account, of course, so there's no real roadblock if the rest of you decide on using G+.

I've been thinking about those things, as well. For what it's worth, I support blog-style, as it seems more appropriate for this project's scope. I'd also prefer a relaxed, personable tone; I find it more enjoyable to read, and we'll likely have to survive on our personalities anyway. Focus is by far the most difficult issue; I'd say the first thing to tackle there is to decide whether we want to primarily post news articles or op-ed pieces, then figure out what's appropriate for the site from there.
