So You want to be a marine eh? (read before joining)

The royal marines is a small 6 - 18 man division comprised of bagpipers flag bearers and infantry who use an aggressive in your face style of combat to gain the upper hand against larger forces.This group is Not by any means competitive or is not based on skill. You will not line up standing still hoping your not the unlucky soul who gets shot first, nor will you be some mindless pawn in an officers game of war. You might die, but your death shall not be without the prize of glory. The commander will do what he thinks is best for his men at times, but he will also listen the council of his soldiers using their combined wisdom to stay alive and kill more baddies.
If you enjoy staying back living the life of a well protected soldier in some fortress its not my choice. The Marines are not this however and are aggressive, picking clusters of scattered enemies using a single well aimed shot and a vicious bayonet charge to obliterate foes. We will be the first into the enemy soil not taking time for time consuming formations that everyone knows don't affect the wars outcome anyways. We sneak past the foes, avoiding the swarms of enemy scum a mere shadow in a war hopefully flank the enemy, and land behind enemy lines.
The main goal of our smaller detachment is to take out key targets using our advantages being a small group, like maneuverability, stealth, and speed. Once behind the foes lines we target the smaller groups of enemies be it arty, a small infantry brigade, stragglers, or the occasional town, all are fair game for the marines.
Tactics such as this may seem a fools gamble to some and they may be, but a small group of 8 - 10 marines in the past have taken out groups 2 - 3 times our size well sustaining minimal if any casualties. It doesn't matter where you are, AU,EU,NA all are excepted and bred for war. So do you want to be gunshot fodder or something more?
Let it be said that Is Not a regiment so sign up/tags are not required, and this group is just a way to have fun on Napoleonic_ Role_ Play and hopefully other servers in the future.
