MM has formed somewhat of a monopoly on AOC servers as of late, I think this is a very dangerous thing for an already dying game, and in my opinion could very well kill it. A monopoly in a video game is a very bad thing, as there are not laws/committees/courts to keep them in check like there are for monopoly-type corporations in real life. I know of a lot of people in my clan that simply don't play much anymore because they don't like playing on MM, and I share this sentiment. I can't be the only one? Whether its the annoying warm up period, the highly abused forgive/do not forgive system team kill plugin, or just the douchey admins, there is always something that ruins my gaming experience on MM.

Their recent upgrade to a 32 slot is a blatant attempt to keep their server as the only populated server in AOC. It will now be nearly impossible to fill other servers because of this upgrade... there are simply not enough people that play the game any more to fill a 32 slot and a 24 slot server at once in north america. MM is getting out of hand and will be the only place to play from now on unless we do something about it.

Join me in boycotting MM. I don't care what server it is (Vq/Kotrt/Kila/?), just as long as we form together and keep another populated server around and keep this game alive! No matter how tempting it is to join MM to pub stomp the baddies that frequent it, don't do it!
