Well Bob, here we are again at the opening ceremonies of one of the oldest tournaments of Blood Bowl in the Old Word.

That's right Jim and I for one am looking forward to this season more than ever. Gone are the days of clueless teams with worthless players. They've been replaced by coaches with some salt and players worth the money that was spent on them in the first place.

Yes indeed, but with that experience comes attatchment and I think some of the fans may be dismayed when their favorite player is taken off the field on the corpse wagon.

Hehe, that's half the excitement Jim... The anticipation of the inevitable bloodshed. It's gonna be a great season, we have the returning champs from the last KFC Endtimes, the Sotek Sentinels. Those cold blooded bastards can hit.

Especially their center player I'm told, Lizard Ditka. The Livonia Leg Breakers are also back. Keep a close eye on those Greenskins Bob, I'm told they actually field the ball and their thrower has been blessed by one of their clan's wyrdboyz so he can litterally "make it rain" out their.

Speaking of fielding the ball, it looks like Freeze's Talons have shown up again. Coach Freeze performed admirably last time with what we thought was a rag tag team of elves. I might hate elves more than anyone else in the world Jim, but their high flying antics could ruin any other teams chances of winning.

That's it for the returners from our curcuits in the past but we do have three other relatively unheard of teams and coaches. I hear the Freezin' Jiblets have already been voted most despised and then we have the two most disgusting teams you could imagine or at least want to imagine. The Septic Open Sores and Gandpappies Best Boys. Seems as though Nurgle worshippers have flocked to the stadiums in hopes of seeing the blighted Chaos god pull a victory. Only Nuffle knows what will happen out their though and we know that worshiping craven images of other gods doesn't score you any points with the fickle, dice loving god.
