Tonight in New York City, Junior Welterweight Ricky McDonald (1-1-2) fought his third professional boxing match against Aquïntano Chevez (3-1-1). The match was rather boring with most of the action happening in the first round being delt by Chevez. Later on though, McDonald started to get into it and fought back evn though he received a lot of hits and his face was looking terrible, having a nasty cut in his left eyebrow in round 3. Round 4-6 were quite even with both of the fighter receiving punches with McDonald even stumbling over his feet. 7-9th round were for McDonald who turned out to be in a better shape then Chevez. Not being able to break trough Chevez his upper defense he would ofthen go for the body eventually hitting the side/front of Chevez' stumach hard and making him fall to the ground in pain. McDonald would turn towards the croud and make a heart shaped symbol to someone in the croud. (Picture of a battered McDonald here with fingers forming a heart).

The talented young Irish boxar said in a intervieuw afther a fight that this fight was won only because of his psychologist helping him to get trough a depression he got afther his two losses. Further he said it was a tough fight and he'd like to do it again. The Irishmen still is in need for a manager wich he need rather badly.
