The Loyal Opposition to the BCN Whigs

We in the BCN Tories reserve the right to loyally oppose the ascension of the BCN Whigs in their bid to assert control and rule over the country. While not possessing any ulterior motives and malcontent views towards King and Country, we respectfully decline to be led by our respected rivals the BCN Whigs and seek to uphold the rights of the gentry and their supporting people in this most testing of times.

Party Ideology: Monarchism, High Culture and Counter Revolutionism (Conservatism)

Monarchism is the support of a Monarch as a complete government and the seat of all power regardless of the person who sits on the throne. Monarchism is the establishment, preservation and restoration of a Monarch in the above capacity. Yet a strong Parliament is needed.

High culture is the promotion of the people held in more esteem, such as the aristocracy.
It is often associated with the promotion of the most hard-working people regardless of their standing in society.

Counter Revolutionism is the suppression of a Revolution in favour of the Government who is being revolted against. This can be good as it promotes the reinstating of a good form of rule and secures prosperity.

Group Policys

The Appointment of a Monarch with power over all to provide the BCN with a powerful base from which to expand.
Toleration of all members of the BCN party to give the BCN's members an input in the course of events.
The promotion of an Imperialistic society will give the BCN a boost of prestige that is felt to be much needed.
The expansion of BCN possessions if necessary.

Manifest

It is our hope that with the succession of the Tory party to the mantle of power within the BCN, we can promote a perod of increased prosperity for the group and in particular it's loyal members. This will enable the BCN to gain vital connections and thus improve our standing among groups.

All other members of the group who do not have a specific rank above are considered MP's of their own district.

Only one party can be joined: Tories or Whigs, please cancel membership with the opposing party.
