Armada Expeditionary Corporation

The Armada Expeditionary Corporation is a organisation send to the Hellion system many lightyears away from Earth, it is the destination of the first interstellar colonization mission during the 23rd century. Almost a million colonists, suspended in cryogenic hibernation, leave Sol on a journey that will take many decades. The Armada Expeditionary Corporation was part of the mission. However, when they woke up, almost a century later, they found themselves trapped inside a nightmare.

The Armada Expeditionary Corporation worked together with the AltCorp during this expedition to the Hellion system.

Before mankind ventured across the void it had to conquer the Solar system. The great expanse began during the second half of the 21st century. In less than 200 years mankind had completed its transformation from a terrestrial into a space faring civilization. Over 45 billion people called Sol their home and almost two thirds had never been to Earth.
The reformed UN government put a lot of effort into bridging the gaps between nations during the late 21st century but in so doing it disregarded the divisions that began forming during the great expanse. The early days of space exploration were dominated by various private companies, from small independent enterprises to large international conglomerates. As society changed and technology advanced these companies gradually reduced their Earth-based operations and eventually transformed into independent state-like entities each with their own values, goals and agendas. They were among the first to call space their home.

ArmadaEC Steam Group Update

General Update Info:
Gentlemen the ArmadaEC has now been orgised in a way that everyone will hopefully like, hopefully. Allot of new sub forums in the discussions section of this Steam Group have been added to give you a overview of everything there is to know about your current status and position in the ArmadaEC but also rules and protocols to keep the ball roling to the right direction because lets be honest without rules and protocols things specialy for a corporation even if they work on seperate stations will be a mess without them. I want to ask you all kindly look trough them so you know your current group and status.

Explaining and Implementing Protocols:
Protocols are the core of our organisation. Making sure everything is sorted out in a certain way and that crew members follow them so everyone knows what is happening. This will prevent mistakes like “Hey were did you put that canister?”. Protocols will be added along the road and all admins and moderators of the Steam Group will have to agree with them to be implemented. We do not want to force things up to people on what they don’t want.

Explaining and Implementing Rules:
Rules are very self explenatory. You follow them because they are their for a reason. Not following rules can led to accidents and accidents can led to losing absolutely everything you progressed to so to prevent that from happening at each ArmadaEC Staff Meeting new rules will be added. Also for rules evrry member of the staff will have to agree with them. It stays a game so we do not want to force things on people that are not nessasary or rules that are just one step to far. But it is a fact that they are crucial for the organisation.

Joining a group:
You will be able to join any group you wish as long everyone of that group is alright with it. This means you need to prove yourself worthy by increasing your status by gaining experiance. Remember that one mistake can lead to loaing everything in this game. Some groups do not want a to big group so they minimize the amount of members in their crew so it will also be harder for you to join them because if they search for a extra man they will probobly chose the best of the best that is available at that time. You will also have groups that accept new group members a bit faster then other groups but also they will be searching for the best of the best because the fact stands that one mistake can lead to losing everything. Also some groups might ask you to do some
kind of test before you are allowed to join their group officialy so always try to improve and stay serious.

Increasing your Status:
You increase your status by playing the game. If I hear good feedback from coan members about you, lets say for example “Shisno is doing a great job in communicating with the rest of the crew and his docking skills are massively improved”. From these kind of feedbacks your status will go up closer towards the 10. You will not only get feedback, if you play with me for example and I see you master for example piloting a ship you will also increase your skill level because then I can physicly see that you master it.

Groups ad Stations:
Each group has its own station and crew on the same server. Every group of the ArmadaEC is allied with the other groups within the ArmadaEC. This means that you can ask support from other groups when nessasary. A example is: You just lost your ship and you respawned on your station. You made allot of progression and you don’t want to start over with your crew. Then you can call in the help of other clan members to for example scavange a ship for your crew so you can get going again. Maybe with some extra suits and/or guns if nessasary. The point is that we as Corporation are there for each other in bad times. Other groups will also br able to help you getting resources or modules if nessasary.
