A Place where your anime opinions are heard

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was originally a game until April of 2006 when it was made into an anime. This anime is a horror, psychological thriller, and mystery. Where the main character of the story named, Keiichi, has just moved into the village called Hinamizawa. It is here where he becomes good friends with four of his fellow classmates (note they are different ages because the school does not have the funds for more teachers). After a bit His friends recruit him into thier club where they play games, where the loser has to do whatever the winner says. It dosent take long until Keiichi finds some dark secrets of Hinamizawa. It leads him to be paraniod and wonders if he can trust anyone. This anime has four different arcs. Each arc has the main plot (where the cotton drifint fesitival) but a different murderer (so it seems). In the end you find out the truth of all these stories. The victim often becomes the murder but then it turns back around and goes to june of 1983. This is a good anime where it can get you to the edge of your seat where everything seems mellow then suddenly go into suspense/craziness. It will lead you confuse at first but as the story developes you slowly understand why it happened. This is a gorey anime and said to be one of the scariest. So beware not to watch this at night all alone in the dark ;) (though i would suggest to do so).
