The world is not always as civilized as people might think. The arcane and steel is what seems to matter. The world of Khoreberros is in peril. In an age passed, an individual whose name has long since been forgotten and known only as the Dark Lady, tried to usher in an age of chaos. The Khoran Alliance defeated her and her menacing armies of the Azurefyre Horde during the first Azur-Khoran War, bringing in an era of peace and prosperity. As years passed, and with the Azurefyre Horde fractured, the Khoran Alliance turns its interest inward and strengthen themselves while the races of Azur lick their wound. While centuries of peae would flourish, some tension would break down between some of the Khoran races, as some sought to their own agendas. A series of wars would plague Khoreberros, from former allies, to sects of the enemy. Empires and kingdoms rise and fall, tribes and cultures erased from history. The world would be brought closer and closer into a greater conflict. As resentment endures, so many advancements arose. Magicks, sciences, and technologies became an important part of life, being both a blessing as well as a curse. From making engines to save lives, terrible warmachines are also constructed for destruction. Even in this dark-enlightened age, the ways of the Ancients are known to only a select few. As the Khoran Alliance begins to struggle in holding itself together from within, their enemies are slowly rising as the Azurefyre Horde begins to pull itself together and rebuilding their strength. Can the wounds of the past be healed to reform an strengthen the Khoran Alliance into a golden age? Will the Age of Chaos be ushered in, threatening all who inhabit the world?
