There will be a group meeting hosted on teamspeak tongight at 8:00PM central regarding the final lineup announcement for the team as well as the future of the Aerodite playerbase as a whole. Be there or be square :^)

TEAM DISBANDMENT/STARTING FROM SCRATCH

As many of you know, over the past month or so, the team has endured the effects of disagreement of player interest and availability. It has grown increasingly difficult to manage a group of players who have developed different expectations for a team, or have experienced changes in their life deeming their availability limited. Admittedly, the team has been in a state of decay for this reason, having now reached a point where the word "team" has lost its meaning.

While I hold partial responsibility for this disbandment, now more than ever it is necessary for me to clarify that Aerodite CS is not, and was never, intended to be MY team, and I feel that this may have been a common inclination among the rest of the team. Naturally, in any group of people, there must be some hierarchy in order to keep it from collapsing. In my case, my role is only to execute whatever the group as a whole has agreed upon and to merely prevent disorder, and has no correlation to in-game authority. I want to urge members to be transparent, and share their voice/opinion, or else I am unaware of any disagreement or opposition to the structure and practice of the team, leaving me no chance to make any kind of compromise or change accordingly.

Admittedly, I am disappointed and regretful that the first revision of the team met its fate, but I see it as an opportunity to start from scratch. I am currently in the process of bringing in new players from which I will eventually form a new team. In selecting four players for the team, my decision will be based, in part, on the level of skill of each individual player, but primarily on in-game activity/availability, schedule, location, and most importantly how they interact with each other player.
