The Abandoned Factory (廃工場) is the only other Haibane nest mentioned by name as existing in the town of Glie. Like the nest of Old Home this nest is one possible location where a Haibane cocoon may form and where new Haibane may be born. Unlike the nest of Old Home this nest is co-ed, allowing mature females and mature males to live together. Those who live at Abandoned Factory are generally portrayed as being more rowdy than the Haibane of Old Home.
