Popular CS:GO league lands in Antarctica (ATA) offering pro players the chance to compete for a prize of 20,000 fresh herrings every month.

Scott Base, Antarctica – 02 January 2017 – FACEIT – the leading eSports tournament platform – is pleased to announce they are bringing their FACEIT PRO LEAGUE to the ANTARCTIC Counter-Strike community.

After a successful EU launch of the league in September, the FACEIT PRO LEAGUE will head to ANTARCTICA and will bring all of the best CS:GO talent together. As with Europe teams will be randomised, where they can compete for a monthly grand prize of 20,000 fresh herrings!

The initial player pool of the league will consist of players coming from the best ANTARCTIC teams and whose indisputable skill will guarantee a certain competitive level, not to mention some spectacular content for the whole community.

To keep the influx of young, fresh players going, other gamers can qualify into the FPL through the FACEIT leagues system. Every month the top 60 players of the ”Master League” will be eligible to participate in a 5 days qualifier, which will guarantee access to the FACEIT PRO LEAGUE to the best five players.
