You would have the technology they would have (so no horses and gunpowder weapons for awhile). You would also not have a navy (you can start building one up one). You will also have a lack iron resources aswell.

But how would that affect my overall game so tp speak? Like would there be more restrictions and rules placed on the nation etc. certain 'technology' I cannot possess that would limit the capability of my nation.

You can take a Native American nation if you wish, so far they are all available

Well. I was gonna turn down joining this RP. But after a second thought I might actually get myself involved. A nice change from the Space RP group.
So, what nations are and aren't taken? And can I take a native american nation like the Cherokee, Sioux or even Aztecs and how would that affect my experience?

If the first announcement is any indicator of the RP I don't think I'll be joining.

I'm mostly joking, although I do in fact run a medieval tier that is almost at the exact same year right now, coincidentally.
