After meeting at Fort Marlana and discussing with 'Emperor' Louvel himself, an expedition of the Swedish peoples have been given the right to establish an embassy within the capital of the Marcalan Empire, Vurillia. As we speak the Imperial Palace is beginning to be outfitted to support the Swedish embassy, and any others that will follow.

The King of Norway has held a Royal Marriage, with the Courts of Sweden and the Holy Roman Empire in attendance. The Marriage was arranged between the Kingdom of Norway & the Holy Roman Empire. The couple being married was Corvak, King of the Norwegians, and Elise, a German Princess. The Marriage ceremony was followed by celebration in the Norwegian Court.

Following the Marriage, the King of Norway has prepared a force of 5000 Norwegian Warriors to sail to Iberia and destroy the Moors. Having suffered the brutal ways of the Saracen slave traders himself, King Corvak declared all forced bondage illegal in Norway - and has vowed to repel the filthy Moors from Europe.

The 5000 Strong force will consist of Norse Warriors sailing in Longships, along with the King & Queen of Norway - both of which vowing to battle together. King Corvak plans to group up with the Swedish & Irish forces. He will be carrying the Lion Banner with him in battle.

Swedish and Irish forces have begun to sail down towards spain, following an agreement with the Pope.

Sweden is sending 5000 of its Best Cavalrymen, along with 4000 Of its best Infantry, Accompanied by 5000 Irish warriors, whom have 600 Archers, they are sailing as we speak.

King Sverker gave a speech on this.

"People of Sweden! It has become apparent that us Norse and the Christian nations have a common enemy, The Islamic people, They have encroached far to close to Sweden, and Valhalla! We must not allow them to come any further, and that has spurred me to send some of the best of our men down to fight them, along with the Christians... Our force shall be led by none-other than Steinunn, The Sword of Sweden!"

The Pope made an announcment today calling for all nations loyal to the Pope and God to take back the lands in Iberia and kick out the saracens.
