ABOUT 8PM L4D2 Guidelines Agreement Group

Simple guidelines we can all live by...

If you join this group, you agree to the following and won't ♥♥♥♥♥ about it. If you want to change these guidelines, Start a discussion, we have no problem adjusting the guidelines.

1) PILLS HERE. This is a game. It's not something to rage over. Take a pill, be nice to your friends, enjoy yourselves. Sometimes you'll win, sometimes you'll get demolished, it's the nature of gaming.

2) EARLY TANKS. If there's a tank as people are leaving the respawn we all agree to get the tank to the humans as early as possible and allow the tank to be killed without interruption. We tried the "restart" thing, didn't work. We can't just have the tank run away, or the AI will take over. So, Humans, if you feel it's an Early tank say in text, "EARLY TANK" so everyone knows. Other infected team members will not attack during the tank's quick demise.

3) RAGE QUITTING. We do not rage quit. Everyone has a different strategy in this game, you may not like the other teams decided strategy, but you agree to live with it and learn. Every strategy has a weakness, it just takes time (and maybe several games) to learn it. If you want/need to leave a game you agree to find your own replacement first. Until then you'll do your best to help your team. Some nights we spend 15 minutes finding 8 players and it is absolutely no fun when 15 minutes into an hour long game someone leaves.

4) JOIN A LOBBY ONLY ON INVITATION: Sometimes people coordinate through e-mail, forums, facebook, or steam to play together. Everyone has friends, everyone has people they want to play with on a regular basis. This game is it's most fun when your team is on the same page, and that only comes with time and experience together. Don't ♥♥♥♥♥ about. Ask to join a lobby if you don't have an invite. We all agree not to get angry if asked to leave a lobby because someone else is coming, many of our players need to reboot, get a snack, finsh satisfying that special someone just before a good game of zombie apocolyptic killing.

5) ROUND ANNOUCING: At the start of each round you'll say, "r", or "Humans Ready" and "Infected Ready", that way everyone knows everyone is... wait for it... wait for it... ready. No more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about not being ready.

6) LEAVING A SAFEROOM: You leave a saferoom and you're fair game. Your teammates are not responsible for saving your ass and infected are not irresponsible or wrong for kicking it. You leave it, you're to blame. Period. Listen to your team, make sure they are ready.

7) ATTACKING A SAFEROOM: Only after the humans say they are ready can you attack them. Saferooms are automatically fair game once the humans say they are ready.

I'd like to propose an addendum: For any reason, at any point during a game even in lobby creation, if you feel you will have to quit the game, =don't play at all!=
This screws over your team. Ruins the rest of the round if no one else joins, or it is decided no one else is needed. If somone else does join, it also screws them out of a full match. Just don't play if you cant play in full.
