About us!

The 88th is a line infantry regiment, which has set itself the goal to become one of the best regiments in the Holdfast community. We pride ourselves on not only melee skills but guidance and training and our discipline during our events. We aim to be a disciplined regiment, however this should not interfere with us having fun. Our rank structure is made for historical accuracy. This does not mean Recruits are less valuable than NCO's for example. Everyone who is part of our community will be respected and other opinions will be heard and taken seriously. We do have an age limit of 13+. If you want to have a look for yourself first, and you are not sure you are wanting to join us, then you are always welcome to jump on our Teamspeak and play with our members. We welcome everyone with open arms, even those who don't want to join our regiment but just hang out on TS with our people.

If a member shows a high degree of loyalty and maturity as well as a understanding of regimental tactics and commands, you should apply for a promotion to an NCO rank. From here you will gain responsibility for maintaining formation. Also upon being promoted to NCO rank you will begin to be further taught your role and regimental tactics in a more advanced format. If you continue to show that you posses leadership skills and are growing at a respectable rate you will be potentially given a higher NCO position and possibly an officer role.
