The Hokage (火影, "Shadow of Fire") is the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village. The Hokage is one of the five great Kage who rule over the five main shinobi villages. There have been four Hokage in Konoha so far.

Konoha has always been rich in strong shinobi. It all started from the very foundation of the village Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama when the Uchiha and Senju clans united. Subsequently, Hashirama becomes the First Hokage. Other clans also settled in the village: Hyuga, Nara, Akimichi, Yamanaka, Aburame, Inuzuka and others. The village was also famous for its leaders: Hashirama had a rare wood style, and the Fourth Hokage was famous for his speed. Konoha has always been famous for the spirit of fire, which is passed down from generation to generation.


Until now, all five Hokage are known. The first Hokage is the founder of the village of Konoha. The Second Hokage became famous for his water techniques and becomes the one who creates the Konoha Police. The Third Hokage is the owner of countless techniques, and the teacher of the three legendary Sannin. The Fourth Hokage, better known as "Yellow Lightning", saves his village from the Kyuubi invasion, and is also the father of Naruto Uzumaki. Tsunade is the current Hokage, as well as one of the three legendary Sannin and the best when it comes to medical techniques.
