FAQ:

Q: What is Security Detail?
A: Security Detail is a private, episodic roleplay server which follows the story of an isolated paramilitary locked in a strugge of their own domain. More details of the group's history can be found in the Original Concept below or in one of our discussion threads.

Q: How can I gain entry?
A: SD is a whitelisted server, and the whitelist is derived off of a discussion page that you can find in it's appropriate section. One can get an invite by adding afwshill on steam and requesting access. Any candid invitations that are accepted will result in the said invitee being kicked from the group.

Q: Why did Security Detail shut down?
A: SD died prematurely due to many real life pressures of both owners. AntiShitizen/Tick was indeed waived into the Air Force, and his busy lifestlye could not support constant care or payment of the server. Travis Haley was also locked down in academics, and could not contribute valuable time.

Q: What is the future of SD?
A: Text roleplay. Despite lacking of atmosphere (which could hopefully be remedied by my technical skills), the mechanics could make for a much deeper and more thoughtful experience compared to a time-restricted event-based game server.

Dust Post-HL2 Roleplay

You guys might be familiar with .DUST which is making a comeback. I had some administrators from the community reach out to use certain characters and plot continuations in the collective lore of their server (Check it out, it's very deep.)

Although it's image is vastly different from traditional HL2 to the point where it may be blasphemous, you might find it interesting.

Hello, fellow roleplayers! (And indeed, this is the first time typing that unironically). There was a lot of buzz about Security Detail, so I wanted to create some closure especially with some plot points I've been dying to introduce. Yes, this might be continued via text form, although in a non-autistic way through a website or application suitable for a roleplay of this stature.
