The 23rdVA is a forum where everyone is equal and welcome.

The 23rd Virginia infantry regiment participated in Lee's Cheat Mountain Campaign and took part in Jackson's Valley operations. Forming part of Lee's Army of Northern Virginia under Jacksons command. The unit was involved in the campaigns of the army from the Seven Days' Battles to Cold Harbor, then moved with Early to the Shenandoah Valley and ended the war at Appomattox.

Lt. Colonel's Needs From The 23rd Virginia

I need one main thing from the regiment and that is UNITY... a united front so we get seen as being well disciplined, well organised and pretty funky as a regiment.

1. We need Officer / NCO training.
2. We need PTS in place for meetings to stop people over-speaking the main speaker of any raised debate / discussion.
3. We need to adhere to the chain of command. The highest available rank at any one time being the main leader / decider.
4. In battle we need to pull to the side as a regiment and all members of the regiment are to stick together at all times and not go off with new ingame chummies.
5. We need to lead by example.
6. In public games we need to follow the highest regimental commander and not the CO slotted non-regimental person/s.
7. Feedback, I always need information or re-information whether I am in a game from the start or just joined. Once I am ingame I need our position and enemy position reported to me immediately.
