Every Marine is a rifleman and combat ready, willing and able to stand shoulder to shoulder in battle. Every Marine also has a specific area of expertise that contributes to the total force and mission readiness. Each function in the 1st Marine Division carries a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). There are many of MOS designations from which to choose, including Infantry, Aviation, Intelligence, Communications, and Tank & Armor. Your MOS will define what you do, not what you will be. You will forever be known by your title, United States Marine.

To become a Marine is to become part of a brotherhood that exists in and out of uniform, during and after service. Once a Marine. Always a Marine.

The 1st Marine Division has been around since December 5, 2008. It started as a tactical realism unit on Counter Strike: Source and was the only one ever. The 1st Marine Division has moved into Garry's Mod, but seeks to run other battalions in other games.
