In the beginning, you cannot imagine how enthusiastic I was when we had everyone in the Teamspeak, getting ready to work together for an enjoyable tactical experience.

At the 1st LAR (formerly the 1/4 Marines) Arma Tactical-Realism unit, we understand people have lives, prior commitments and oustanding obligations to those closest to them, but recently the overall attendance has been absolutely horrendous. There might be a FEW regulars who join up and spend a little time on the weekends, which is fully encouraged and acceptable, but the other two-thirds are non-existant at best.

"Our Dear Leader" Lee busts his balls trying to get all the things necessary in order to continue operations putting in a LOT of his own free time to create things we can all enjoy, and he doesn't get near the return as he should for the sheer dedication he puts in to make this work.

What this all boils down to is a looming question: Is the 1st LAR worth the effort if noone decides to show?

I'll leave it for you to answer. My expectations are nothing short of full turnout each, and if you have difficulties meeting weekend operations, then feel free to let us know so we can erase your name from the blackboard.
