1. keep producing villagers to get dat eco rollin, up to a 100 and more if necessary, build additional TC's near resources

2. Vary your army composition: make the units your civ is good at and/or counters to the army of your opponent. Don't forget them blacksmith upgrades and some university techs

3. Don't take it too hard when Klif is angry with you, it happens

4. LISTEN TO WILLIAM WALLACE, the tutorial is pure freedom
