History

An order first formed to counteract the Sarranid religious invasion of the East levied from men inside Swadia East & West uniting under the singular colour of the classic Swadian red. The group initially gained its veterancy and adaptability whilst fighting against this ever changing and developing enemy of the east, aiding the church in her forever conquest of the desert plain and restoration of the one true faith Markerism. From the first file fighting in the dustball desert moving from sandy reservoirs to small oasis in active pursuit of the enemy aiming to bring down any target they’re set on, as men of Eastern Swadia are taught to do from such a young age. Whilst the Western Landsknechts soon break into any castle or remain strong like a stone wall while the crashing blow of the gate comes down to deliver the final blow on a startled enemy.

Much is undocumented about their time within the active war with the Sultanate although the real legend of the order begins not in an area but a series of conflicts.

The pair Lennart & Parinor so called ‘deserters’ of the church came to the region armed with sword and horse plotting to bring it to its knees in order to gain wealth and again further their fearsome reputation. From defeating a Khergit horde at a three to one disadvantage with the use of unprecedented and experimental tactics the company managed to stop the region from the Khan’s bane helping to cease the expansion of the further developing Empire. Furthermore no man could find one safe from the lance of the company with lords of Swadian houses meeting their ends by the swift noise of wood crushing the spine, nor Sarranids whom the old, bitter and slimy enemy of the group soon found themselves departed from the region sacked of all wealth and any power within the region.

Now the company find themselves once more on the move seeking better employment, adventure and fame attempting to continue the path of destruction and redemption.
