Can anyone tell me how difficulty levels work in BfS? When you change them what exactly are you changing - scenario balance? AI thinking time? battle mechanics?.. Also, in the turn summary screen there is a number and icon (picture of town?) under the Victory Point stars. What is this mechanic and how does it impact scenario result? ...

When I try to select a scenario, the only one I can select is Ebro 1938 [Rep AI]. I'm open-minded enough to be able to play the nationalists, but I wanted to start with a scenario from earlier in the war. Is this a bug or a feature? When I click on one of the other scenarios, the name appears for a micro-second, but then reverts to Ebro 1938 [Rep AI]. If your first playthrough is restricted to this scenario, there needs to be a large clear warning label so people don't think something's wrong. If it's...
