Few to no updates, is it dying???

Hi, sadly Gaia 2 is not available in Germany.

I have a 16GB system with a 4GB AMD Radeon RX 560 Series GPU. Using Process Explorer, I see the game start at 9.6 GB memory and slowly go up until it hits 14GB Physical and eating between 19 - 23 GB virtual (virtual = physical until it hits the 14GB mark, then starts page swapping). Somewhere there's a memory leak, either the spawned objects aren't being deleted ( something's holding a object handle), or there's a runaway process. Hi all! I want to start a new chapter in Gaia by making the mosquito and exploring the sea, but it takes "Hard Shells" and "Starfish". Does anyone know where to find these items? I assumed starfish would be in the water, but I dove a little and died, i guess from lack of oxygen, although I couldn't see any kind of indicator for how low my oxygen was getting. (Edit: I see the oxygen bar now, but i can't use my multitool underwater so even if i find starfish or hard shells, I'm not sure how I'm expected to...
