I managed to finish the first introductory race. Now I am in the town with the 4 shops and when I approach any of them, a prompt comes up with a blank white key. What key is this supposed to be on the keyboard? I also tried connecting my XBOX controller, but the prompt remained a white square and I can't figure out what it's on the controller either. Please? It's. So. Painfully. SLOOOOW. The slowness gets really annoying since you have to walk to everything, and it's even worse when you can't remember where you are.

What's the deal with this... puzzle? I have no idea wth is going on with this one. 4 numbers come up, and if I press J, sometimes it'll lock the first number, sometimes not, then try on the second number, and it just resets to the first number... how exactly do the controls work, and what are you supposed to do?...

Does anyone have some tips? I am really struggling to beat the grand prix... I feel like I'm missing something. By consistently shooting the birds I can get a pretty constant boost but it seems like the opponents chuck on a massive boost at the end and it doesn't really matter how far I'm ahead. Am I right in thinking that the rubber banding doesn't really reward trying to go in front early? Thanks for your help in advance ...

I've noticed that my bike damage after a race seems to drop with each new screen I move through. This wasn't happening at the start of the game, but it has been for a while, and I just noticed it for sure. I ended a race with 24% damage. When I went to the mechanic closest to the square, it showed my damage at only 14%. Then when I left the mechanic and checked, it was down to 5%. Back to the mechanic screen, now 0% without spending any money. I certainly don't have any auto-repair bike parts or anything ...
