Why can't we get a steam workshop for this game? I get it its, old but the install methods for patching to 1.06 is brutally hard for modern pc's

Runs almost perfectly for me on a Linux mint with an AMD cpu. I think I am on proton 8.

How can I play RT 3 on Steam? My game won't even load at all. Steam does.
