stunning game with touching story

11-11: Memories Retold is good… but only up to a certain point.

The art style is easily the best thing about it. Looks like a painting constantly moving around, and when the story lands, it really lands. Some moments hit hard and the atmosphere during the war sections is genuinely strong.

But then the game also drags itself down sometimes. Gameplay is super basic, pacing gets uneven, and a few scenes try so hard to be emotional that they lose impact instead.

It’s got real heart, just not enough consistency to fully stick the landing.

7/10, beautiful game with some rough patches.
