Today's update focuses on the mission control screen, specifically on mission details which are important if you want to complete the mission and earn the bonus. Now, instead of presenting the details on an optional second dialog (which apparently no one bothered to read) the details are spelled out clearly when you select it. Also, importantly, if your rocket does not have the necessary parts to undertake the mission, the "accept" button will not be available.
Hope everyone had a great holiday! to celebrate the new year, we're rolling out a pile of new rocket parts. Notewothy: this update contains the first 2-pin parts -- you'll need the right connectors in order to add them to your rocket. Also: two new classes of fin parts give thrust bonuses based on the presence of certain nutrients. For example, the D-Dyno Fin gives a significant thrust bonus if the food/fuel has a significant amount of Vitamin D.
