This game feels a bit more annoying than the other ones I've played thus far and there's a few reasons for this which I'll put below.

Sometimes if you hold the opposite direction to where you're moving, it will still speed up the character, which feels quite counterintuitive.

I don't like the fact that the angles at the sides of the diamond are so sharp, I keep instinctively trying to press a diagonal direction, which just takes the first key that I input, which backfires a lot of the time. The angles at the top are shallower, so I don't get the same feeling of awkwardness from them.

The game also feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be sometimes, you have to keep moving to keep the multiplier up, but the game slows down so much at some point due to all of the enemies and things removing your lines and preventing you from leaving where you currently are. You just end up bouncing between one node and another hoping to get a good opening, rather than moving around a lot, which makes it feel more like a slog than fast-paced fun (although this could easily just be a skill issue on my part lol).

Something I didn't realise until later is that the characters have stats and some are just simply better than others. This is shown in the game, but in a very minimalist style that (at least to me) seems easy to miss. If you're going for the 400 points in one game achievement, keep this in mind because I did it with a bad character (1 speed 2 size) and it felt really annoying, but then I used a better character (4 speed 2 size) and it wasn't nearly as bad to get 400 points (but I still didn't really enjoy the gameplay too much).
