How can i start the game in 3dfx mode, the game always start only in software mode.

Lots of old classics are being brought to Linux on Steam / GOG. How about also this fine racer? Many would surely purchase it right away and porting shouldn't be problematic at all.

I'm putting this here because it took me forever to figure out how to lower the volume of all the engine sounds relative to the music. To change the volume of the SFX you have to start a race, pause then select CD PLAYER In that menu is a MODE button. Hit Enter on that, then lower the volume using the minus button. I have mine lowered to the where it's green audio. Why it's buried in there I have no idea. Also, if you're looking for the instruction manual that tells you all the controls and whatnot here...
