I am new to this game and wondered about how to best pull off the invasion of mainland Italy. I am playing the 1943 campaign and so far we are at turn 13, sept. 25 1943. Sicily has been occupied for some time now, I repaired all ports to 100%. Italy has surrendered. However, as I was setting up the amphib HQ's, I noticed that they only build prep points very slowly, I spent the past 5 turns doing nothing except for bombing and they are at around 20 to 30 prep points. Is this normal? I feel like I spent too...

Is it possible to "sim" this game? Can you give basic orders and let the game sim the outcome?

Did anyone manage to get this to run on Linux? I am on Mint and no proton version did the job for me. I am experimenting with chatgpt but it doesnt look like we can get it to work. the few proton versions that do manage to boot the game up produce washed out graphics and very slow FPS....

Is there anyway to boost the number of a unit's vehicles? Some of my mechanized divisions lack vehicles so they have low movement points. I put them on a national source with supply priority 4 in refit mode but they do not receive any extra vehicles. Any ideas?...

this isn't an AAA game so why?
