Is this still active? If so is it worth starting?

My favorite game yet nothing in plan for the game storyline, I sure hope you have something in plan if you want this game to actually get back on track when it comes to playerbase interest and update production aside form small bits of side content and microtransactions....

Prefacing this by saying I played this outside of steam and I refuse to use discord so I'm saying this here. As much as I like the setting, the style, the unique combat compared to many other mmos Ive played that all feel the same, and the furry girl following me around, with only a few hours to a days worth of trial content as a free player nothing has completely hooked me enough to pay. Is it even worth it? I would like to see more of the game, but I see more worth in putting my money into a game I kno...

During starting the game antivirus app had flagged PirateLauncher. Suggested workaround - reinstalling the game - didn't work. Anyone else having that problem?
