A New Skirmish Begins

Hello, Commanders!

The latest Skirmish event is live.

Running until May 24, this limited-time event shakes things up with an exciting ruleset and a fast-paced battlefield challenge.

Here’s the full intel.

Skirmish is a special game mode, accessible directly from the main screen, where each event introduces its own unique ruleset. Because each Skirmish plays differently, every event offers a new tactical twist.

For this weekend’s Skirmish, the rules are as follows:

Choose your own deck to battle with.
You can use a deck with more than 12 Ally cards.
Draw an extra card each turn.
Players gain extra 2 kredit slots each turn.

Alongside the added intensity this Skirmish delivers, your first win in the event will earn you a free random card pack.

You can access the Skirmish event from either the main screen or the Play menu, where you’ll find a full overview of the mode, its rules, and the reward.

This Skirmish is available from Friday, May 22 at 12:00 UTC until Sunday, May 24 at 18:00 UTC. Enter the fray, outplay your opponents, and secure your prize.

Why is it possible to Double Elite-Cards?

, I dont really understand why it is possible to double those cards that are clearly meant to stay unique! This is such an unfair Ability in perspective of all the other Factions that can't even do that in the first place. But even if they could, there are way too many elite Cards that really are way to strong to be seen more than once on the battlefield. Have fun!

Baffled by Permanent Pool list (especially Soviet)

I've been on a bit of a hiatus from the game recently but came across the permanent pool list the other day. Now I mostly play Soviets, they've always been my favorite nation and the only one I'm even close to maxing out. So as I went through their list of cards that won't ever leave I was left really underwhelmed: So out of the 64 cards the vast majority make absolutely no sense and haven't been staples of Soviets since I've been playing the game. Oceania Storm: Card Rotation

The next chapter of KARDS is almost upon us.

⚡ OCEANIA STORM ⚡

Deploys June 11th

We first announced the summer expansion alongside the reveal of the new minor nation arriving this June: ANZAC. Today, we’re excited to reveal its name and release date. Oceania Storm brings new mechanics, fresh strategies, and a battlefield shaped by harsh weather and unforgiving terrain.

As reinforcements arrive, the front lines will shift.

Rotation Incoming

With the launch of Oceania Storm, a new card rotation will take effect.

This operation will:

Return a selection of Reserve cards to active duty
Move a number of existing cards into the Reserve pool

Together, these changes reshape the active battlefield and prepare the ground for the new expansion.

This rotation also marks the transition toward our new annual rotation system, supported by the recently introduced Permanent Card Pool - a stable foundation of cards that will never rotate out.

Returning to Active Duty

A total of 23 cards will return from Reserves on June 11th.

These veterans are ready to rejoin the fight and may open up new strategic possibilities.

Note: Some returning cards may arrive in updated or reworked form. We’ll share full details during spoiler season. Cards returning from Reserves with Oceania Storm will rotate out alongside this expansion under the new rotation system (Winter 2028).

Also, please note that the list below includes only cards returning from Reserves with Oceania Storm, and which will rotate out alongside this expansion. Several additional cards will permanently return to the active pool this summer as part of the new Permanent Card Pool.

Moving to Reserves

As Oceania Storm deploys, 129 cards will rotate out of the active pool and move to Reserves.

While they leave standard constructed play, they remain part of your arsenal:

Playable in Classic PvP, Friendly Battles, and AI matches
Can be recycled for weekly crate progress
May return in future expansions, potentially with adjustments
All new expansion cards are protected from rotation for 21 - 30 months

A New Skirmish Event is Live

A new Skirmish event has begun.

This limited-time event runs until May 10, introducing a unique ruleset and a fresh battlefield challenge for those ready to adapt.

Here’s the full briefing.

Skirmish is a special game mode, accessible directly from the main screen, where each event features its own unique ruleset. With no two Skirmishes alike, every event delivers a different kind of battle experience.

For this weekend’s Skirmish, the rules are as follows:

Each player gets an identical deck with 8 copies each of the 0/4 infantry cycle.
At the start of each turn, choose 1 of 3 randomly chosen cards from a pool of 16.
Each player starts with an extra kredit slot.

Alongside the unique challenge this Skirmish presents, your first win in the event will earn you a free random card pack.

You can access the Skirmish event from either the main screen or the Play menu, where you’ll find a full overview of the mode, its rules, and the reward.

This Skirmish is available from Friday, May 8 at 12:00 UTC until Sunday, May 10 at 18:00 UTC. Step onto the battlefield, secure your victory, and claim your reward.

Are there Mid Season Patches for broken cards?

, I know you can not see in the future too much and don't know in the ebginning if some cards are creating an environment that leads to less fun in playing the game. So I want to know if there are actually patches in between seasons, which are pretty long, to adress the cards that get exploited en masse because of their overpowered abilities. Like the russian card that gets a 5/5 tank each round and can't get countered when it is installed once, because you can't silence a HQ. Or the german B...
