Sadly Steam doesn't allow a more nuanced review that "recommend: yes or no". My opinion would be: so, so.

I bought this game after being intrigued by a few minutes of gameplay. It was cheap so it was worth a try. I expected a small game I'd finish in 20h or so and was surprised to eventually play it for 50+h

Sadly, at that point I was far from completing the game while the gameplay mechanics start to feel boring and repetitive. It appears that Patrice Désilet has fallen back into his old habits that already plagued the Assassin's creed series 10 years ago: the map is way too big and empty and the game mechanics are not interesting enough to justify that big of a map.

Some accessibility options, mods or documented console commands to slip some of the repetitive gameplay loop would have made it bearable. But none of this is available for this game.

So if you have 100/120h before you and you're ok with exploring a huge map and do the same action for that long, I would say go for it.

If you're lacking the patience to explore a map that is mainly empty and lazily filled with tigers jumping at you every 5 minutes, skip it.
