The game looks cool, and I'm looking for more local cooperative games.

My gut wants to say the very first, as you encounter only the weaker enemies. However you do have to kill the boss for the item at the end so it leaves absolutely no room for error. Last level is out of the question for obvious reasons.

Hey, we've been having this issue with the toxic cloud of the spiders - sometimes, and I can't exactly tell how, we are getting instagibbed by them. Last night we had this situation where we shot a spider off the edge of a barricade and I went from "fine" to "dead" in an instant - not even a second, just a tic of damage. I wouldn't chalk it to lag since we are in the same city (4-player squad). And it happened to me while I was hosting one of those times too....

My friend and I just bought the game and we dont know how to join each others game or how to host one. It says it has online coop but it only allows for us to play single player?
