You play Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed games like Valhalla or Mirage, none of which have the gameplay and storyline of the Ezio trilogy.

The legacy of Ubisoft is kept alive by this trilogy.
Don't buy the Deluxe edition, i forgot that Ubisoft was a terrible company and you can no longer play the DLC, or access anything that's part of the Deluxe version. waste of money

Ubisoft you MUST get rid of the Ubisoft Connect launcher for singleplayer games on Steam. There's no other way around it. You either put them on Steam with no launcher or don't put them on Steam entirely.

From 1st September 2022. as per message from Ubisoft:
"You will be unable to play multiplayer, link Ubisoft accounts in-game or use online features."
"Additionally, the installation and access to DLC will be unavailable."

Understand this: No matter how big and popular a game is now, Ubisoft will take it offline at some point in the future. Their games have an expiration date. Then you have an incomplete game or no game at all anymore, although you paid for it. Don’t bother to buy the newest Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell or whatever, because it will be gone. What’s the point of investing your time and money into something, which will be taken away from you?

듣기만해도 웅장함이 느껴지는 도시, 로마는 어쌔신 크리드: 브라더후드의 주 무대입니다. 명성에 걸맞게 여태까지의 모든 도시중에서 가장 크고, 웅장하지만 브라더후드는 대부분의 사건이 로마에서 일어남. 사실상 로마 단일맵에 가까운 편이죠. 퀘스트를 통해 다른 군소도시로 이동할 수 있지만 한정적이고, 자유롭게 움직이기 힘들어 큰 의미는 없는 편임.

전작의 시스템도 상당히 좋았지만, 브라더후드는 대부분 스케일이 업그레이드되어서 돌아왔다. 사용하는 무기들부터 상대하는 적, 그리고 빌라 하나 관리했던 전작과 달리 도시 전체를 주무르게 됨.

어쌔신 크리드에서 가장 좋았던 작품을 꼽는다면 전작과 더불어 이 어쌔신 크리드 브라더후드는 거의 항상 상위권에 랭크되는 에지오사가에서도 보물격인 작품임. 전작에 만족하지 못하셨다면, 과거의 영광을 체험하고 싶다면, 지금 형제단에 가입해라. 그리고 전성기를 함꼐 맞이하라.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (2010) is a direct sequel to Assassin's Creed 2 (2009), picking up literally right where the second one left off. This game's name speaks to a big part of what it's about, the brotherhood. In AC2, it was about learning to be an assassin, accepting grief, & finding those responsable for your family's death. The beginning of the fantastic story of Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. This one continues Ezio's story but now he is & has been an assassin for a long time. Now he must become the mentor, an assassin leader, & help lead the brotherhood.

Now a fair warning if you are planning on playing AC Brotherhood right after playing AC2. Because this game was originally planned to be a DLC for AC2 there are a lot of similarities in game-play, the graphics are pretty much identical, & a lot of assests around the map will look familiar. My warning is that if you were getting burnt out by the end of AC2 then playing this game right after might make your experience of brotherhood a little sour or worse then it could be at least. So please keep this is mind.

Now, what is AC Brotherhood about story wise?

Following the events of AC2 where Ezio decided not to kill Rodrigo Borgia & met Minerva, a memeber of the Isu (people who came before humanity), he returns back to his new home with his Uncle. After attempting to explain what he saw & why he didn't kill Rodrigo he decides he wants to settle down for a little while. However, before he can do that things go south as his Uncle's town is attacked by Cesare Borgia, son of Rodrigo Borgia. A lot of people die, the apple of eden is stolen by Cesare, & Ezio is badly wounded. Despite his injuries Ezio decides enough is enough, he travels to Rome with the goal is eliminating the Borgia family & retrieving the apple of eden once more. & so, AC Brotherhood begins.

While in Rome you will meet some familiar faces from AC2, free the people from the Borgia's control, & build up the brotherhood. In this game you actually get to use assassin's in game-play. After helping the people of Rome you can recruit those you help into the brotherhood. Once in, you can send them on missions to level them up making them stronger. When not on missions you can use as many assasassin's available to come in & assassinate targets of your choosing. This new game-play mechanic has a lot of potential uses but here's one as an example: When trailing an enemy there will be guards around the area & on rooftops, if you don't want to risk alerting them & you can't take them out yourself then you can use your assassin's to silently take them out as you continue to trail your enemy from the shadows. Cool right? This is one of the brand new things brought into Brotherhood that wasn't in AC2.

The parkour in Brotherhood like AC2 is still great & I personally found there to be a lot less of Ezio jumping to places I most definitely wasn't wanting him to like in AC2 which was great. Your move set & how the map lends itself to the parkour is pretty much identical to AC2 only in Brotherhood there is just one map & it's half city half open land with small towns sprinkled in. The map is impressively big though considering the one year of development.

In Rome a big part of the side content is rebuilding landmarks & shops that the Borgia have either destoryed or taken control of. Shops like blacksmiths, doctors, tailors, & more are rebuilt by using your money, the more of them you buy the bigger the discount you get at them as well as more items to buy.

The glyph puzzles return from AC2 however I found them to be stupidly hard in this game whereas in AC2 they were challenging but fun with only a few having me almost pull my hair out. I only finished about seven of the ten because of how stupid they were but they're stil there if you want to attempt them. Some of them were still really fun but too many weren't for me to care personally.

The assassin tombs don't return per say but there are things that essentially replace them which are really cool & like the tombs in AC2 they end up giving you some strong armor as a reward. I personally think the armor looks really dumb but the game-play of the tomb-like things were very fun so I don't care too much.

Despite being very similar to AC2, Brotherhood is a more refined game. The parkour, combat, even the missions were more exciting in this game. Over the course of the game you get to use things like cannons, a tank, a boat with a gun on it, & some more. The game has some CRAZY missions.

In terms of the technical side, I did have to have V-Sync turned on for the entire game or else cutscenes would stutter a lot. For the last mission of the game I had to change my refresh rate to 60hz to progress the end of the mission. The exact problem happened in one of the side missions as well. Not too big of a deal & still nice to be able to go 240hz for most of the game comapred to the 60hz that AC2 was locked to.

There is a DLC type side quest that you are recommended to play after the story which helps lead into AC Revelations & 3. It was cool I guess, a little confusing as to why it mattered until I searched up some stuff afterwards. Not very long at least.

But yeah, AC Brotherhood is a great sequel with an awesome story, beautiful Rome, amazing score, a fantastic villain that I wish we got more of who is phenomenally voiced acted, & much more. It's similar to AC2 in a lot of ways but again, refined in a lot of ways as well.

I highly recommend you play it & continue the awesome journey of Ezio Auditore. But regardless, always remmber.
